Change in Orders or
Cancellations:
Changes of quantities, copy, color or stock may be made depending on
stage of the order. These changes may require a change in pricing or
a charge for work incurred. Canceled orders will be subject to all
charges for materials, artwork and services incurred at time of
cancellation.
Label
Returns/Liability:
All labels returns must be authorized in advance with an authorized
return number. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted and will be
returned by the carrier. All returns must be authorized within sixty
(60) days of our shipping date. Liability for rejected labels is
limited to the price charged for the same labels. Credit will only be
issued for those labels which are returned unless otherwise agreed
to. Credit will be limited to errors of omission and commission; if
the customer wishes to change copy, label design, or other facets of
the label, credit will not be given toward replacement of the
incorrect labels. In no instance shall LabelsNOW be held liable for
damages arising from the use of its products in excess of actual
replacement cost of the label product.
Customer Supplied
Copy:
Copy should be typewritten or hand printed by the customer so that it
is clear and error free. We will follow the exact specifications in
laying out your label. In the absence of exact specifications, our
professional artists will use their best judgment in designing your
label. We will not be responsible for errors of customer
specification or in the design of the label, so long as it is
reasonable. Call for a quotation on orders requiring unusual
extensive design or layout. Please refer to the electronic

Fine Copy in
Reverse:
It is not recommended to go below 6 point type, depending on boldness
of style selected if the label is to be printed in
reverse.
Fading:
We are unable to guarantee you sun resistance on our ink labels with
our standard inks. If you have any label that will be exposed to a
great deal of sunlight and are looking for longevity, then we must
use a more expensive lightfast ink. Please state this requirement
when placing order.
Moisture:
If the label is to be exposed to moisture,
then a varnish or a lamination film will be required in order to
protect the ink from washing out. This varnish or lamination will
protect against moisture, but will not give you a greater sun
resistance. We suggest that you advise us of the end use and let us
quote on jobs of this nature.
Adhesives:
Different adhesives have different properties. It is very important
that you advise us of any unusual characteristics of the surfaces to
which the label will be affixed. Such would include various types of
plastics (polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.) vinyls,
rough surfaces such as wood, small curved surfaces, irregular shapes,
etc.
Over-Runs and
Under-Runs:
We seek to produce requested quantities; however, we reserve the
right by industry standards to over-run or under-run orders by 10%,
which will constitute fulfillment of the order. If exact quantities
are specified at time of ordering, add 5% to unit price.
Patents or
Copyrights:
When orders are manufactured to customer’s specifications, the
purchaser agrees to assume any liability resulting from actions or
demands brought against us for patent or copyright
infringements.
Rights to
Promotion:
We reserve the right to use all products in our advertising and
displays unless otherwise specified in writing at the time of
order.
Art Proofs:
No charge for first proofs that become an order with 60 days of
proofing. Second and subsequent proofs are $15 each.
Note: We reserve the right to refuse any order that we judge not to be acceptable in language or design.
